A hub is a place your field teams and vehicles work from, such as a warehouse, depot or branch. Most features depend on hubs: tasks, users, teams, vehicles, routing and records all belong to a hub, and the hub picker in the top bar decides which hub you are looking at. Set up your hubs accurately before you start working.

The hub list

Open Settings › Hub.
Required permission:
  • View hub
Hub list
  1. Search hubs: find a hub by name or address.
  2. New: add a hub.
  3. More actions: Edit or Delete the hub.
The table has these columns: The count above the table shows how many hubs your organization has.

Add a hub

Required permission:
  • View hub
  • Create hub
Click New.
New hub
  1. Name: a unique name for the hub. Required.
  2. Address: filled in for you when you search or move the pin. You can overwrite it. Required.
  3. Coordinate: latitude and longitude, separated by a comma, for example -6.21462, 106.84513. Filled in when you search or move the pin, or type it yourself. Required.
  4. Location: search an address and pick a suggestion, or drag the pin on the map to the exact spot. The Address and Coordinate are filled in from where the pin lands.
  5. Setup extension: add extra fields your organization keeps for hubs under Extended data. See Linked Records.
Click Save. The address search covers locations worldwide, so you can create hubs in any country, including one different from your organization’s main country. Check that the country in the address is correct before saving, because route optimization and vehicle matching use the hub’s country. If the location is outside the countries your plan covers, you’ll see That location is outside the countries your plan covers. After the hub is created, you’re given access to it automatically. Next, give other users access in Settings › User by adding the hub to their Hubs.

Edit a hub

Required permission:
  • View hub
  • Edit hub
Open More actions on the hub’s row and choose Edit. Change the name, address, coordinate or extended data, and click Save. If you close the dialog with unsaved changes, you’re asked to Discard them or Keep editing. Renaming a hub also renames it in the hub picker in the top bar.

Delete a hub

Required permission:
  • View hub
  • Delete hub
Open More actions and choose Delete, then confirm.
Deleting a hub cannot be undone. Tasks, routes and people assigned to the hub lose it, and the data inside the hub, such as task details and vehicle information, is no longer reachable. Export anything you still need before you delete.
Before deleting:
  • Remove every user from the hub. In Settings › User, edit each user who has the hub and take it out of their Hubs.
  • Hubs with completed tasks can’t be deleted directly. Contact support for help.
Trash keeps a read-only record of the deleted hub for 30 days, so you can review what was removed, but the hub can’t be restored from there.
