Click an order in Activities › Order to open its page. The page refreshes on its own every few seconds while it is open, so a task finishing in the field shows here without reloading.

The order page
- Order number and status
The order’s number and its current status, coloured by its meaning (grey New, yellow In progress, green Completed).
- Order Type
The Order Type this order belongs to. If you can view Order Types, the name is a link that opens it in Workflow › Order Type.
- Edit
Changes the order’s field values. See Edit an order.
- Change status
Moves the order to another status by hand. See Change the status.
- More actions (⋯)
Holds Cancel order and Delete. See Cancel an order and Delete an order.
- Tabs
Details (shown first), Steps, Execution log and History. Each is described below.
- Order fields
Every field of the order with its value. A list field is shown as a small table with a row number; a coordinate is shown on a small map; an empty value shows ”—”. If the Order Type has archived a field that still has a value on this order, it is listed under Archived fields at the bottom of the card.
- Active steps
The steps the order is waiting on right now, under the fields card. Each line shows the step, what it is waiting for (for example “Waiting for task”, “Waiting for webhook”, “Waiting for other paths”), who holds the task and how long it has waited (“since 12:45 PM (40m)”). Open task opens the task. When the order is waiting for a status before its steps start, the card says “Steps start when the status becomes …”. The card is hidden once the order has finished.
- Tasks
Every task this order has created, with its status (Unassigned, Ongoing, Done), the step that created it and its assignee. A retried task shows “Attempt 2”; a task made for one row of a list shows “Row 3”. Open task opens the task. If you edited a field after a task was created and the task still uses the old value, the task shows “Still uses the old …”.
When the order was created by a task finishing, a Source task card above Tasks shows that task with an Open task button.
An order keeps running on the Order Type version it was created with. When a newer version has been published, the Steps tab says “A newer version (…) exists. This order keeps version …”.
Steps
The Steps tab shows the Order Type’s steps as a diagram, with the path this order has taken so far.
- Legend
Done (green), Running (in progress), Not taken (grey: the order did not go this way) and Needs attention (red). A condition step marks the rule that matched.
- Refresh
Reloads the diagram. “Updated …” beside it shows when it was last loaded.
- Current step
The step the order is at now, with what it is waiting for. Click any step to see its latest log lines and open it in the Execution log.
- Zoom
Zoom in, zoom out and fit the whole diagram on screen. You can also drag the diagram and scroll to zoom.
How the steps are built is explained in Order Type.
Execution log
The Execution log tab lists everything the steps have done, newest first.
- Events
Shows All events, or only Tasks, Conditions, Webhooks or Status events.
- Problems only
Shows only the lines that went wrong, such as a failed webhook or a rule that did not match.
- Columns
History
The History tab lists every change to the order itself, newest first.
- Columns
Needs attention
When a step cannot go on, the order stops and a red banner at the top says why, for example “Needs attention: Task could not be created at Delivery” with “Task quota reached” below it. The order also gets a red warning sign in the Orders list.
- Reason
What went wrong and at which step. Common reasons: Task could not be created (task quota reached, the list field is empty, the Task Type or the assignee no longer exists), No rule matched, Webhook failed (with the HTTP status of the last call), Waiting for paths that stopped, Safety limit reached.
- Retry step
Runs the stopped step again. Fix the cause first, for example free up the task quota or fill in the missing field with Edit. For “No rule matched”, retry uses the rules of the order’s version, so edit the order’s fields first, or cancel and create it again.
- Resolve
Removes the flag without running anything. The order stays where it is. You must type a Note saying why.
- Cancel order
Cancels the order. See Cancel an order.
Edit an order
Click Edit to change the order’s field values. A finished order cannot be edited (“A finished order cannot be edited”).
The panel shows the same fields as the create form, filled in with the current values.
- Save
Saves only the fields you changed and shows “Order … saved.”. Tasks that were already created keep the values they were given; if any open task still uses an old value, you’re told how many, and the task shows “Still uses the old …” in Tasks. If someone else changed the order while you were editing, you’re asked to reload.
Change the status
Click Change status to move the order to another status by hand. It is hidden on a finished order.
- Current
The order’s status now.
- New status
Every status of the Order Type. Statuses that end the order are marked Final. Choosing one warns: “This ends the order. Running steps stop; open tasks are not changed.” and lists the open tasks. If the Order Type’s steps start on this status, you see “This starts the steps.”
- Reason
Why you changed it. Required when the new status ends the order. It is shown in History.
Click Change status to apply it.
Cancel an order
Open More actions (⋯) and choose Cancel order.
- Cancel order
Available while the order has not finished, and only when the Order Type has a cancel status (otherwise: “This Order Type has no cancel status”).
- Delete
See Delete an order.
- What happens to the tasks
Tasks not started yet are cancelled (“Will be cancelled”). Tasks a field worker has already started are kept (“Kept: a worker has started it”) and stay listed on the order page so you can close them in Tasks.
- Reason
Required. Shown in History.
Click Cancel order to cancel, or Keep order to close the dialog. The order moves to the cancel status and its running steps stop.
Delete an order
Open More actions (⋯) and choose Delete, then confirm. This cannot be undone. An order that already has tasks cannot be deleted (“This order has tasks. Cancel it instead.”).
