# Password Policy

> Make everyone in your organization choose a new password regularly.

**Password policy** sets how often people in your organization must choose a new password.

1. Open **Settings › Organization**.
2. In **Password policy**, set **Passwords expire after** to a number of days, or **Never** to turn expiry off.
3. Once expiry is on, a **Warn before expiry** setting appears. Choose how many days before expiry people are reminded.
4. Click **Save**.

When a password expires, the person is asked to choose a new one the next time they sign in, before they can continue.
